WellRounded was founded in 2021 with a vision of creating more than a clothing store—it was built to become a place where fashion, creativity, and community come together.

My story began in Tijuana, Mexico. As a child, I immigrated to the United States and was raised in Kansas City, Missouri by my hardworking single mother, an entrepreneur who taught me the value of resilience, independence, and building opportunities with your own hands.

Growing up between two cultures gave me a unique perspective. While I was naturally reserved early in life, every new experience exposed me to different people, ideas, and ways of seeing the world. Over time, I became someone who could connect with people from all walks of life. I've always been observant, empathetic, and drawn to creativity—whether it was finding beauty in overlooked pieces or seeing potential where others didn't.

That's where the name WellRounded comes from. To me, being well-rounded isn't about being perfect—it's about staying curious, embracing different perspectives, and appreciating the individuality that every person brings. Those same values shape the way I curate every collection.

For more than 10 years, I've worked in retail, developing an eye for craftsmanship, quality, and timeless style. As vintage fashion experienced a resurgence, I saw an opportunity to create something that reflected my own vision. I started by converting a shuttle bus into a mobile boutique in 2020, bringing curated vintage and modern apparel directly to the community. The response was incredible, and the relationships built through that experience gave me the confidence to open WellRounded's first brick-and-mortar store in Chicago in 2025.

Today, WellRounded is a curated blend of Western-inspired style, American vintage from the '70s and '80s, modern apparel, and designer clothing. Every piece is selected with purpose—for its quality, character, versatility, and ability to become part of someone's personal story.

More than a retail store, WellRounded is a place to gather, discover, and celebrate creativity. Whether you're searching for a one-of-a-kind vintage find or a timeless wardrobe staple, my hope is that you leave feeling inspired, confident, and seen.

If my journey has taught me anything, it's that where you begin doesn't define where you can go. WellRounded is proof that with curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to embrace new experiences, you can build something meaningful—not just for yourself, but for your community.
